The God of All Comfort

The troubles that life brings our way can sometimes seem unbearable. Isn’t it good to know that we don’t have to face these tragedies alone?

First, we have a Father in heaven who loves us very much. In his great compassion, God comforts us in a way that no one else can.

Second, we have people in our lives who love us dearly. Some of them have been through the same kind of trials that we are currently experiencing and are able to give us comfort.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”—2 Corinthians 1:3-4.
