A Denver woman told her pastor of a recent experience she had in a jewelry store. She had walked in and told the man behind the counter that she was looking for a necklace with a gold cross. The clerk looked at what he had available in the display case and asked, “Do you want a plain one, or do you want one with a little man on it?”
Too many people need to gain a bigger perception of who Jesus is. He is not a “little man” who is simply an ornament to wear around your neck. Jesus is the Son of God. He is the Savior of the world. He died to pay for the sins of mankind and he is the only way to God. This is the proper way to understand Jesus.
“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”—John 14:6.
