The Family Circus recently ran a cartoon that showed one of the children telling his mother, “Grandma says she’s seen it all, done it all, and heard it all. She just can’t remember it all.”
I think that Grandma speaks for many of us! Life sends a lot of things our way, and sometimes we can’t remember all of it.
Thankfully, the Lord has provided a way to help us remember the most important thing—the salvation that we have been offered through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ. Each time we participate in communion we are reminded of the forgiveness we have been freely given through Jesus.
“…Do this in remembrance of me.”—Luke 22:19.
