Maxey Flats

Maxey Flats is a site in Kentucky where low-level nuclear waste was dumped between 1962 and 1977. The site contains about 4.7 million cubic feet of low-level waste. Some of that waste began leaking out in the 1970s, which caused the place to be shut down.

Since then, precautionary measures have been taken to try to prevent surrounding land from being contaminated. Now, a final cap will be installed in an attempt to provide permanent protection from contamination. Some are certain that this procedure will work, while others are skeptical. Only time will tell who is right.

Some people try to cover up the sin in their lives. But no matter how deep they try to bury it, it always comes up to the surface. Your sin will surely find you out someday.
