health supplementsA recent study suggests that many supplements supposedly containing herbs or other ingredients that allegedly promote health and well-being actually contain little or none of these ingredients. It seems that many of these products are little more than cheap fillers such as wheat, rice and beans.

When we call ourselves “Christians”, we are making some type of statement about the content of our lives. The Bible says that we Christians are filled with the Holy Spirit, and that the fruit, or evidence, of that fact is plainly seen. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control…” (Galatians 5:22-23).
