Taking Out the Romance

bride and groomI have been wondering how the wording would be changed on marriage licenses in Kentucky after the United States Supreme Court ruling that effectively legalized gay marriage. I need wonder no more. I just got a look at the updated paperwork. Instead of “bride” and “groom”, the form says “first party” and “second party”.

That doesn’t seem very romantic!

“But at the beginning of creation God made them male and female. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one.”—Mark 10:6-8.

Now that’s romance!
