Birds keep trying to build a nest in a hanging basket on our front porch. My wife doesn’t want a bird’s nest in her hanging basket on our front porch. So she keeps running the birds off. And they keep coming back. You have to admire their tenacity, but hopefully they will take the hint and look elsewhere to build their nest.

Birds have an instinctive drive to reproduce. We Christians should also have a burning desire to reproduce ourselves. By doing so, we bring people to salvation through Jesus and help them to begin to experience the life that God has planned for them.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”–Matthew 28:19-20.
