Leonard Nimoy died Friday at the age of 83. The long-time entertainer was best known for his acting, particularly for playing the part of Spock in the hugely popular Star Trek franchise. The cerebral and stoic Spock became one of the most recognizable characters in television and movie history.
Spock’s catch phrase was “Live long and prosper.” Fittingly, Nimoy had a long and prosperous life.
Christians understand that the only way to live eternally and prosper in the after-life is through Jesus Christ. We believe that he is the savior of the world and the key to everlasting life.
“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”—John 14:6.
