Is there a difference between the words “complete” and “finished”? While they might be considered synonyms, these words might have some different connotations.
One man insisted that there is a distinction between those two words. When asked to explain, he said: “If a man chooses to marry the right woman, he is complete. However, if he chooses to marry the wrong woman, he is finished! And if he marries the right woman and she later catches him with the wrong woman, he is completely finished!”
“Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.”—1 Peter 3:7.
