Two farmers were talking as they watched the sons of one of them hoeing a field of corn. One asked the other, “Why are you doing that the old-fashioned way? Why don’t you spray for weeds instead of having your boys hoe?”
The other farmer answered, “I’m not just raising corn. I’m raising sons too!”
Sometimes the easy way is not necessarily the best way. Especially when it comes to raising children.
“Discipline your children, and they will give you peace; they will bring you the delights you desire.”—Proverbs 29:17.
