It’s hard to believe, but Dennis the Menace celebrated his 65^th birthday yesterday. The mischievous Dennis has been amusing people around the world for a long, long time. There is never a dull moment for Dennis’ parents and the exasperated next door neighbor, Mr. Wilson.

It is not unusual for cartoon characters to never age. Even though he has been around for 65 years, Dennis is still just 5 years old.

However, we Christians are expected to mature with the passing of time. There is nothing amusing about childish behavior on the part of people who follow Jesus.
