The Cost of Water

On Sunday, September 24, the temperature reached 86 degrees in Gillette Stadium for the game between the Patriots and the visiting Houston Texans. This was a bad day for the concession stands to run out of bottled water, but they did.

What happened next really got some people hot. The concession stands started charging fans $4.50 for a cup of tap water!

Needless to say, some people were outraged. Patriots’ spokesperson Stacey James apologized, saying, “That should not have happened!”

No matter what the price of water might be, the spiritual water given by Jesus is always free!

“The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come!’ Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.”—Revelation 22:17.
