A mother decided that it was time to talk to her young son about receiving Christ. “Son”, she asked quietly, “would you like to have Jesus living inside you?”

The boy thought for a moment and then replied, “No. I don’t think I want the responsibility!”

You have to appreciate the young man’s honesty!

It truly is a huge responsibility to live for Jesus. Many people only think about the privileges of Christianity—and they are many!—without considering the duties that we accept when we claim to follow him. Many people want Jesus to be their Savior. Fewer want him to be the Lord of their life.
