A man was at the airport waiting to board his flight. He observed a mother who was travelling with three young children, all of whom were running around yelling and annoying the other passengers. The mother tried to calm down her children and get them to behave, but she was having little or no success.
The man asked the lady, “If you had it to do all over again, would you have children?”
She thought for a moment and then replied, “Yes, I would. I just wouldn’t have these!”
Raising children can be difficult. It requires much prayer and patience. But it can be a very rewarding experience when they grow up to live for the Lord.
“It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us.”—2 John 4.
