A state trooper pulled over a driver who was speeding. Hoping to get off with a warning, the driver tried to appear shocked when the trooper approached her car.

“I’ve never been stopped like this before,” she told the officer.

“What do they usually do, ma’am?” he asked. “Shoot the tires out?”

Sometimes it takes drastic measures to make us stop, or even slow down. Thankfully, we have the opportunity to take communion every week. This gives us a wonderful opportunity to stop and give thanks for the salvation that we have through Jesus!
