A Sunday School teacher asked her class what they thought Jesus might have said immediately after he rose from the dead. One little girl answered, “I know! I’ll bet he said, “Tada!”
We don’t know if that was exactly what he said. I’m not even sure they had a word for “tada” in the language Jesus spoke! But the “tada” is certainly implied!
Defeating death was a marvelous feat. Death is an awful foe. Death is a terrible, terrible thing…unless someone can do something to fix it. Jesus could, and he did.
So, “Tada!”
“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”—1 Corinthians 15:55-57.
If you have trusted Jesus Christ for your salvation, don’t act like you have been defeated. Make sure you live the “tada” lifestyle!
