A veteran truck driver was training a younger man who was a brand new employee of the trucking company. After a long day on the road, the young trucker was absolutely exhausted. However, his older partner appeared to be just as fresh and full of energy as he had been when they started the day.
“I don’t get it,” exclaimed the trainee. “I am completely worn out, but you don’t seem be the least bit weary. How can that be?”
The veteran trucker replied, “It’s not hard to understand. While you were putting in a hard day’s work, I was enjoying a ride in the country.”
It’s all a matter of perspective.
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”—Colossians 3:17.
