I saw an ad in the paper for a 13-passenger bus. The advertisement said that the vehicle could be a church bus, or it could be used as a party bus. Considering the definition many people have for the word “party”, I thought it interesting that the seller would suggest that the bus could be used for either purpose.

Just as a bus could be used for either good or bad purposes, so it is with the parts of our body. Romans 6:12-13 says, “Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.”
