A minister was asked to go visit an elderly lady who lived in a nursing home. Although he had never met the woman, he was glad to go and pay her a visit.
Arriving at the facility, he walked down the hallway until he found her room. The door was open, so he knocked and stuck his head inside. He asked the lady, “Do you know who I am?”
“No”, she replied. “But if you go ask the lady at the front desk, she will be able to tell you who you are.”
Let us never forget who we are in Jesus! We are part of God’s family! We are his beloved children!
“How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!…”—1 John 3:1.
